My dear friends in Christ,
 
It’s hard for be to believe I’ve been here for eight months already. I count my blessings each and every day that I’m here and you all are a huge part of those blessings! I continue to encounter issues and things that need attention. As I’m sure you know many things have not been addressed for a number of reasons over a long period of time. I’m talking about physical issues with our properties. We are very fortunate to have hired an excellent maintenance supervisor who is working very hard to address these issues and concerns. We are being very prudent with our finances and trying to prioritize these issues/concerns.
 
One of the issues that needed to be addressed was our processional cross at the church.  Our liturgy is always a priority and offering a beautiful sacrifice of the Mass is so very important. The current crucifix was just sitting atop the pole unsecured and was in danger of falling off as we process at Mass and it was unrepairable. A new processional cross has been ordered. The cost of the new processional cross was $1,950.00. I bring this to you as an opportunity to be a memorial patron for the cross. If you would like to cover the cost of the processional crucifix, we will honor your loved one with a plaque in the sacristy where the cross will be kept.
