 Funeral Readings

Father will select the readings for each funeral.  Should the family have a particular reading or readings that they would like, consideration will be given each request provided they are appropriate (allowed in the Funeral Rite of the Catholic Church).  Music selection should be arranged through the music director and again must be appropriate (as allowed in the Rite of the Catholic Church).

Planning the funeral:
Please trust your funeral director. They will generally handle most of the arrangements. Once we learn of a funeral in our parish from the funeral director, we will discuss with them the families wishes regarding the funeral. If you have any questions about the Mass or any part of the funeral, please contact the office.  You are also always welcome to call the Church office at any point.

All funerals should be arranged through a Funeral Director:
If the person died a distance away and was cremated, a local funeral director must be involved.
