Diocesan Cemetery PoliciesAll Prince of Peace Cemeteries fall under the Cemetery policy for the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. A downloadable PDF copy of the complete Diocesan Cemetery policy is below.
MonumentsWe welcome families who wish to install a monument / marker immediately after purchasing a plot. It makes things flow much more smoothly for everyone and eliminates confusion. Many families wish to install the marker after a burial. We suggest waiting until the following spring after a burial to install the marker, as it gives time for the ground to settle and makes it less likely that the monument will shift due to ground settling.
ALL foundation work is to be done by F&G Monuments, LLC located at 517 Bridge Street in Hastings, PA (16646). This form is to be submitted by your chosen Monument Company and approved by Prince of Peace Cemetery Association before any monuments are installed (see updated form & letter below).
