2021-12-25  A Christmas message from fr. mark

Greetings! I’m sure this has been an interesting year for each of you. It certainly has been for me. Being ordained on May 29th, and then assigned as the Administrator here at Prince of Peace has been challenging but so rewarding and filled with blessings. I’m so thankful for your patience and understanding as we’ve navigated the adjustment and growing pains together. I feel so blessed to be here with each of you. I’m thankful for you and your support and understanding. This Christmas season, being here with all of you and being able to witness your beautiful faith and devotion to our Lord is so inspiring to me. I hope and pray that we will continue to grow together in love and union with our Lord throughout the years to come.

As we prepare to celebrate the Nativity of Lord and Savior, a time when our hearts are filled with Love, Peace, Joy, and good will to all men, let us celebrate together and share those feelings with each other and all those we meet. Let us truly bring the light of Christ to the world. We do this by living each day with Christ in our hearts.

You’ve heard me speak often of the need to surrender to the will of God, to live His will rather than our own. This Christmas let us be ever aware of the will of God for us and let us be a reflection of Christ to all those we meet and share the glory of His birth with others.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I want to wish you all a very blessed and happy Christmas. Know of my continued prayers for each of you this Christmas and throughout the New Year.

May our Lord bless you this day and always!

- Fr. Mark
