All Prince of Peace Cemeteries fall under the Cemetery policy for the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. A copy of the full policy is available at the link to the right.

The Diocesan Policy directs that each Catholic Cemetery establish its own local policy. The Prince of Peace Cemetery Committee has established a common set of policies for all Prince of Peace managed cemeteries.

MonumentsWe welcome families who wish to install a monument / marker immediately after purchasing a plot. It makes things flow much more smoothly for everyone and eliminates confusion. Many families wish to install the marker after a burial. We suggest waiting until the following spring after a burial to install the marker, as it gives time for the ground to settle and makes it less likely that the monument will shift due to ground settling.

Grave Purchases and TransfersIf you would like to purchase a grave, change names designated on a family plot, or transfer ownership of a plot, please call the Church office at (814) 948-6842.
