 ​Diocese Preparing for

Upcoming Ordinations:

​​. . . to the ​Priesthood

Bishop Mark will ordain Deacon Brian Norris to the Priesthood during a Mass on May 28th at 10am at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona.

​Deacon Norris is a member of St. Mary's Parish Hollidaysburg, and is wrapping up his final year of education and priestly formation at the Saint Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore. ​He was a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School in Altoona.
​

​. . . and to the Diaconate

Bishop Mark will also ordain ​Diocesan Seminarian Justin Treon to the Sacred Order of the Diaconate as Transitional Deacon, (another mile-stone in his priestly formation), during a Mass on June 4th at 10am at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Altoona.

​Treon is a member of Saint Aloysius Parish in Cresson, and attends St. Vincent’s Seminary in Latrobe. He was a graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School in Ebensburg.
